Lions Club and OneDollarGlasses Switzerland sponsor minibus for GoodVisionGlasses’ mobile sales team for Central Malawi
Thanks to a very generous donation by Lions Club and OneDollarGlasses Switzerland, GoodVisionGlasses was able to procure a fully equipped and branded minibus for its Lilongwe based mobile sales team to conduct outreaches in Central Malawi.
The minibus, which features PA systems and is fully equipped with all equipment necessary for eye testing and distribution of eyeglasses, will be used for urban or rural outreaches at e.g. churches, organisations, markets and health centers.

Being able to actively go to potential customers at their work place, their place of worship or homes is key in a Malawian setting where awareness for and access to eyeglasses is still very low. However, the purchased minibus is not only a means of transport for our mobile sales team into near and remote areas, but with its PA system and outside branding it plays a key role in making ourselves seen and heard, which is a pre-condition to success of selling. “
